God's growing himself a tree. He's actually called it a vine, but since both have branches, I think we can safely make the jump to the tree analogy. This is especially so since the writer neither knows vines nor husbandry.
The point is that God is quite proud of his own pruning and grafting skills taking stiff-necks and court jesters and somehow mending them into one great big growing, living "thing." Being of the gentile court jester variety, it's especially humbling knowing that I'm the pear on the apple tree, but I belong and am quite ecstatic nonetheless.
And so from one analogy grows the reason to adopt. And we know that God's tree is meant to have a few other shapes/sizes/color of fruits than even just pears and apples. Bry and I desire to have miniature little Anderson house tree that looks a little more like our Crosspointe tree that can look even the smallest bit like the heavenly tree with its wild variety. That's our reasoning.

A Second Post because you need to meet...
Us. Not really because there's much unique about us (though there might be a few things), but because we want you to remember us before God. And what's more is that we need you to remember to ask for Divine Intervention because, well..., we need a little magic to happen. And magic only happens Lord Yahweh is on the scene. Hopefully, we won't need another parting of the Red Sea (though the Missouri River probably wouldn't mind), but a few magic tricks along the way will make us thankful.
So here we are in patched up tents, wanting you to see a few pics/read a few lines and remember us.These are the (2) that already have the challenge of overcoming what it means to be an Anderson. Our long-haired big-smiled boys. Their both anxious for their new brothers and sisters to arrive.
Some of you have known us and forgotten us, once-loved from hometowns and universities; work places and seminaries. Some have just began to be frightened by the tidal wave that is inviting the Anderson's over, but we need you to remember us. We need your thoughts to drift to us and remember our children who await us in Ghana and whom we long to know and to love...to Ghana and back again.
Thanks,

We were told from the very beginning of the adoption process that it would be good to have a blog. Whether or not that's true will prove itself in the end, but it's better to be downstream of all the people who have already jumped in the river, rather than stubbornly trying to make our own way against the current. We needed a way to make sure we could plead for prayer and ask for help and...all the other things that we aren't aware we even need.
The story so far is...
We're going to Ghana. Or at least we're hoping to go to Ghana so we can adopt (2) little boys/girls/boy-girl to add to our family. We're #9 on our waiting list and have no idea if that means 2 months or 2 years. Here's where Ghana is in case your geography isn't what it once was:
